Hey there! I'm Alexandros Elegreris, your friendly neighborhood engineer and full-stack developer. Ever since I was a kid, I've been the 'why' and 'how' person - always curious, always tinkering. Whether it was a toy car or a complex problem, you could bet I was there, ready to build it up or break it down.

My career path has been a bit of a tech buffet - I've dipped my toes in everything from coding to DevOps, and even took a spin in the CTO chair. Each role has been a new adventure, adding a unique flavor to my problem-solving recipe. It's been quite the ride, and I'm excited for what's next on the menu!
For over a decade, I have been leveraging my skills as an independent consultant, providing expert guidance to a diverse range of clients. This includes esteemed institutions in the banking sector as well as innovative companies in the burgeoning field of cryptocurrency.

In the realm of hospitality, I developed an affordable software solution that modernized operations for small hotels and businesses. This included a booking and CRM solution with both desktop and web applications.

As a Principal Engineer and Team Lead at Clearview AI, a facial recognition company recognized in TIME100 Most Influential Companies 2021, I co-designed the architecture, pipelines, and databases for a system that could handle data on the scale of hundreds of terabytes. I also designed and deployed web crawlers to index billions of pictures from various websites, using custom-made technologies, anti-evasion techniques, and traffic analysis. Additionally, I created large-scale automation stress tests for the app.

My journey then led me to the world of finance and blockchain. As a Quantitative and Trading Engineer for the largest crypto ETF, I delved deep into the intricacies of financial algorithms and trading strategies.
